Gaza Solution

We created this site in the hope of resolving the current conflict in Gaza.

We believe this Gaza Solution will foster peace, since there will be no more reasons for either side to aggress against the other.

Here are the proposed steps to be taken:

1. All hostilities will cease immediately.
2. All Israelis, both military and non-military will leave Gaza.
3. Hamas will release all hostages/prisoners.
4. Israel will release all Palestinian prisoners from their jails. They will have a choice as to where to go. They can go to Gaza if they wish.
5. The border into Egypt will be open and allow free access to and from Gaza.
6. The entire border between Gaza and Israel will be closed for 3 months. Except for northern crossings that can remain open for aid to pass through into Gaza. After this time, passage in and out of Gaza can be negotiated.
7. Anyone (Countries, companies, individuals) will be allowed to trade with and supply aid to Gaza.
8. A large pier can be built to allow shipping to/from Gaza. They can use the rubble for construction.
9. Palestinians will rebuild and govern Gaza themselves. Given the materials and access to assistance, they are fully capable of doing this. And it will give them something to do.
10. Gaza will have free access to the Mediterranean for fishing, etc.
11. Gaza will gain ownership of the large oil/gas resources directly west of their border in the Mediterranean Sea. This will give them the funding to support themselves.
12. Should any aggression be initiated by/or come from Gaza, the United States will immediately retaliate in a commensurate manner, matching as closely as possible the aggression that occurred (i.e. A rocket into Israel will be followed by a bombing in Gaza.)
13. Gaza will be a no-fly zone for Israelis. The Unites States will monitor Gaza via satellite/drone, in order to locate any possible rocket launches, or other offensive military activity. Any indication of offensive military activity will be immediately destroyed.
14. Should any aggression be initiated by Israel, the United States will immediately cease any and all aid to Israel, and impose appropriate sanctions.
15. In order to reduce current tensions, all settlement activity into the West Bank will be halted immediately. A tentative future plan would involve compensating existing settlers to move out and returning the land to its original owners, from whom it was taken..

The whole situation is complex and has a history akin to a can of worms , but if we can resolve Gaza, then maybe the rest of it, like the West Bank, can be addressed.
